Living Purpose Youth Project is a student-founded nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through education, mentorship, and community support. We believe every student deserves access to the guidance, opportunities, and encouragement needed to reach their fullest potential.
We envision a future where every young person—regardless of background—has access to the tools, mentorship, and resources they need to thrive academically, personally, and professionally. Through leadership development and community partnerships, we aim to inspire a generation driven by purpose and compassion.
At the heart of Living Purpose Youth Project are the values of empowerment, education, community, and purpose. We strive to build confidence and leadership in youth, expand access to learning opportunities, and create meaningful connections that strengthen our community. Above all, we encourage every student to discover their unique purpose and use it to make a positive impact in the world.
Founder’s Story
My name is Madison Acree, and as a first-generation college student at the University of Miami, I know firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate higher education alone. When I first started college, I had big dreams but little guidance. From figuring out financial aid and scholarships to balancing academics and life away from home, I often had to learn everything through trial and error.
Now, as a Health Science major on the Pre-Med track with a minor in Public Health, I understand how stressful college can be—especially for students pursuing competitive careers in medicine. Those experiences taught me how powerful it is to have mentorship, community, and access to the right resources early on.
That’s why I started the Living Purpose Youth Project—to help other students, especially first-generation youth, find the support and direction they need to reach their goals. My mission is to make sure no student feels alone while chasing their dreams and to create a community that uplifts, educates, and empowers young people to live with purpose.
